Currently in Ontario, the cost is not covered. Please note a home-based sleep test provides an official diagnosis, however it does not satisfy the Ontario Assistant Devices Program (ADP) requirement for CPAP reimbursement, should you need to purchase after testing.

Does Sleep Efficiency sell CPAP devices?

No, we do not. You should not be seeking a diagnosis from a company who is also selling the solution. We believe this to be a conflict of interest and unethical.

Can I purchase a CPAP machine after taking your test?

Yes, following your test, our sleep physician may include a trial-prescription if deemed necessary. You can then purchase a CPAP machine out of pocket, with a final prescription from your family physician. Please note a home-based sleep test provides an official diagnosis, however it does not satisfy the Ontario Assistant Devices Program (ADP) requirement for CPAP reimbursement.

What is the cost of a take home sleep test?
